Join us every Sunday at 10 am as we weave music, silence, prayer, and God’s Word into our lives. We worship in the Sanctuary; enter off Arlington Ave, go downstairs, and once in the main doors, turn left.
Although many people dress in “business casual” attire, we encourage you to be comfortable in worship, and we welcome all styles of clothing (and hair!) into our sanctuary.
We use a blend of musical styles from traditional hymns to international chants and even Broadway musicals! We are more about quality than style.
We welcome children in worship, because we believe children learn to worship for life when they are included in the service. Children often take the offering, read, and sing in worship. Children’s bulletins and activities that link to the scripture stories for the week are available. On the Second Sunday of the month from October thru May, worship includes the gifts of song and dance from our Spirit and the Arts young people’s program.
Weekly worship is based on the scriptures in the Revised Common Lectionary, a set of readings that many Christians churches share. Click here for a link to the weekly readings from Vanderbilt University.
